CIRCLE TERMS & CONDITIONS OF PARTICIPATION
Establishing clear guidelines is an act of LOVE. It´s also a legal necessity, so please follow these rules and standards of conduct for the online Sharing & Integration Circle.

When you, the participant (“Participant”), sign up for this online Sharing & Integration Circle (“Circle”) provided by Casa Galactica S.A.C. (“Casa Galactica”), you are agreeing to the terms contained within Casa Galactica´s Terms & Conditions, Privacy Policy, Disclaimer, and these Circle Terms & Conditions of Participation. In the event of any conflict between the terms of Casa Galactica´s Terms & Conditions, Privacy Policy, Disclaimer, and these Circle Terms & Conditions of Participation, the Circle Terms & Conditions of Participation shall control.
Casa Galactica provides clear rules, guidelines, and standards of conduct for Participants in our Circles. The following Circle Terms & Conditions of Participation are the result of the culmination of our professional and practical experience, and they serve to prepare the Participant for a positive and uplifting experience in our Circle.

1. Description of the Sharing & Integration Circle

The Circle is 1-hour in duration, and it is held online via a group Zoom video-call, facilitated by Casa Galactica Co-founders, Jamie and/or Michael Thornhill. The Circle begins with a moment of silent prayer, meditation, or inner contemplation, and then the facilitator will introduce a topic or theme for the Circle. Then the Circle will be opened up for 50 minutes of sharing. Depending on the number of Participants attending the Circle, and in efforts to allow time for as many Participants as possible to share, it may be requested that individual sharing not exceed 5 minutes. The Circle ends with another moment of silent prayer, meditation, or inner contemplation. The Zoom video-call will then continue for an additional 10 minutes after the Circle ends for anyone who would like to stay, ask questions, seek or offer solutions, and interact with the facilitators and/or other Participants.
Your participation in the Circle is entirely voluntary. You are free to opt-out of participating at any time before the start of the Circle, and you are free to leave at any time after the Circle has begun. You are not obligated to share in order to participate and be present in the Circle. It is up to you to use your own discretion and discernment when deciding if, when, and how much you desire to share with the Circle. If you desire to preserve your anonymity during the Circle, you may turn your video off and use a pseudonym for your online account profile.
The Circle facilitators, Jamie and/or Michael, are committed to ensuring the safety and integrity of the Circle. The facilitators may, at any time, decide to exclude a Participant from participation in the Circle if someone persistently is not adhering to the Circle Terms & Conditions of Participation, for any perceived reason that puts others at risk of psychological or emotional harm, or for any other reason.
During and after a Circle, it is not uncommon to experience spiritual inter-connectedness, temporary or permanent changes in your perception of reality and way of thinking, heightened positive and/or negative emotions, access to detailed memories that you had forgotten, relief and/or release of control, the emergence of fears or difficult emotions, and introspection.
2. Guidelines for Sharing
As you share your personal experiences and participate in the Circle, please also do the following:

Keep the focus on yourself. Refrain from spending too much time talking about, and specifically naming, other people.

Share your strength, hope, and tools of navigation. If you are having difficulties or facing challenges, share how you are dealing with them and processing through them.

Bear witness, and be attentive to, other Participants who are sharing their experience. Be open and willing to hear something that may be of benefit to you.

Refrain from interrupting others who are sharing. Interruptions may disrupt the Circle and deny another Participant adequate opportunity to share. If you desire to share your experience, simply click the button to "raise your hand" and wait to be called upon to share.

During the 1-hour time of the Circle, refrain from sharing comments, advice, or opinions in regards or response to another Participant´s share. This is considered "cross talk", wherein you are not sharing your experience, but alternatively offering your viewpoint of other Participants. We suggest only sharing your comments, advice, or opinions with other Participants if and when you are asked, and only after the Circle ends. If the facilitators perceive you using cross talk, they will simply acknowledge it and ask that you cease doing it.

During the 1-hour time of the Circle, refrain from asking others for help, guidance, and/or solutions. After the Circle ends, the Zoom video-call will continue for an additional 10 minutes for anyone who would like to stay, ask questions, seek or offer solutions, and interact with the facilitators and/or other Participants.

Allow each Participant the dignity of their own experience. It is especially difficult not to respond immediately to a fellow Participant who is sharing about, or experiencing, pain, sadness, despair, or any other tough emotion. Refrain from interrupting another Participant, and instead wait until they´ve finished sharing to express a simple, "Thank you for your share." Feel free to talk with the person after the Circle ends as an expression of support.
3. Casa Galactica´s Responsibilities
Casa Galactica will do their utmost to provide all advertised elements of the Circle with respect, care, and diligence in accordance with the professional standards appropriate for the nature and scope of the Circle. In so doing, Casa Galactica:

Prioritizes the highest healing, safety, health, and well-being of all Participants within the Circle, which means that every interaction, engagement, and conversation with Participants are entered into with kindness, compassion, love, and professionalism.

Honors the unique expression of all Participants and deeply values the community of humans who participate in the Circle.

Commits to creating an empowering healing environment where each Participant is welcomed, respected, and encouraged to utilize their own inner wisdom.

Reserves the right to cancel the Circle at its own discretion, for any reason.

Does not discriminate, nor exclude Participants from the Circle, on the basis of race, skin color, national or ethnic origin, cosmic origin, ancestry, age, religion or religious creed, disability or handicap, biological sex, gender identity and/or expression, sexual orientation, military or veteran status, genetic information, marital status, or any other discriminatory characteristic or reason.

Strictly prohibits, and has zero tolerance for, sexual harassment in any form. “Sexual harassment” is defined as unwelcome sexual advances, requests for sexual favors, and other verbal or physical conduct of a sexual nature. Sexual harassment may include a range of subtle and not-so-subtle behaviors and may involve individuals of the same or different biological sex, gender identity and/or expression, or sexual orientation.

Strictly prohibits, and has zero tolerance for, all harassment in any form, for any reason. “Harassment” includes, but is not limited to, verbal, written, or physical conduct that denigrates or shows hostility, disdain, or aversion toward an individual, having the purpose or effect of: a) creating an intimidating, hostile or offensive healing environment, b) unreasonably interfering with an individual’s experience or healing process, or c) adversely affecting an individual’s healing.

Reserves the right to expel any Participant from the Circle who is: sexually harassing others; discriminatorily harassing others; behaving in an excessively negative manner; presenting a threat to the safety of themselves or others; or disrupting the group and/or other Participants, without prior notice.
4. Participant Responsibilities
As a Participant, you acknowledge and agree to the following declarations, wherein “I” refers to “You”, the Participant in the Circle:

I understand that participation in a Circle is not a substitute for professional medical, psychiatric, or psychotherapeutic treatment, but that it may complement a therapeutic process and facilitate spiritual communion, self-development, and personal enrichment.

I declare that I am freely and voluntarily choosing to participate in the Circle of my own free will and that I have not been coerced into participating in the Circle by Casa Galactica or by any other person. The decision to participate in the Circle is mine alone and is for sharing my personal experience, integration, spiritual communion, self-development, and personal enrichment, and is based on my own personal assessment of the Circle. I declare that neither Casa Galactica, nor any employee, apprentice, staff member, or volunteer of Casa Galactica’s has promised, stated, or warranted to me that the Circle will provide any particular or specific benefits or results.

I understand and agree that my participation in the Circle is specifically conditioned upon my unequivocal willingness to take full and complete personal responsibility for my own personal healing, safety, health, well-being, and personal life and lifestyle choices inspired by my participation in the Circle.

I am aware that I can ask questions about the Circle at any time and that I can opt-out of participating in the Circle at any time.

I accept full responsibility for participating in the Circle. I acknowledge and understand that due to the nature of the Circle, by simply being a Participant in the Circle, hidden or unconscious beliefs I hold or experiences I´ve had, either pleasant or unpleasant, may come to the attention of my conscious awareness expectedly or unexpectedly. Consequently, psychological or emotional processes and reactions, such as, but not limited to, feelings of vulnerability, confidence, insecurity, certainty, fear, fearlessness, pain, pleasure, confusion, clarity, anger, love, or any other psychological, energetic, or emotional result, may arise in my experience as a result of participating in the Circle. As a Participant, I understand and agree that I am expected to recognize this when it occurs, and I promise to take full responsibility for whatever my experience of the Circle may turn out to be.

I agree to respect myself, all other Participants, and all Casa Galactica facilitators who are present in the Circle.

I understand and agree that confidentiality within a group healing setting such as the Circle is based on mutual trust, respect, and shared responsibility, and that it is of utmost value and benefit to the well-being and privacy rights of all involved. I understand and agree that all communication and conversations that transpire in the Circle is considered personal and confidential information. I agree to not disclose or share any of the aforementioned communications or conversations with any other person.

I agree to not disclose or reveal to any person outside of the Circle any information that may help to identify another Participant in the Circle, without the expressed verbal or written permission from the Participant. This includes, but is not limited to: name, photograph or other likeness, social media contact information, or any other personal means of identification.

I understand and agree that the following behavior is unacceptable and prohibited by Casa Galactica for the duration of the Circle: sexually harassing others; discriminatorily harassing others; behaving in an excessively negative or aggressive manner; presenting a threat to the safety of myself or others; or disrupting the group, other Participants, and/or Casa Galactica´s facilitators. I understand that if I exhibit any of the aforementioned behaviors, I can be excluded from participation in the Circle without prior notice.

I understand and agree that I can be excluded from participation in the Circle at the sole discretion of the facilitators, Jamie and/or Michael.

I understand that Casa Galactica and its facilitators are not doctors or psychotherapists, and I will not interpret their words or guidance as being of the nature of, or replacing, professional medical or mental healthcare advice.

5. Cancellation of the Circle
Casa Galactica reserves the right to reschedule, postpone, or cancel the Circle due to unforeseen emergencies, Acts of God, or for any other reason.
6. No Warranties & Waiver of Liability
Casa Galactica is not a medical facility and no health care is practiced under its direction. Casa Galactica´s facilitators are not doctors, psychiatrists, psychotherapists, or health care professionals and do not practice health care of any form.
Casa Galactica´s Co-founders and facilitators, Michael and Jamie, function as multi-dimensional channels, spiritual guides, and teachers. We provide the Circle for the purpose of sharing personal experiences, integration, spiritual communion, self-development, and personal enrichment of the Participant.
Casa Galactica is in compliance with Peruvian Law, Ley N° 28538, concerning the illegal practice of medicine:

Art. 290: Será reprimido con pena privativa de libertad no menor de un año ni mayor de cuatro años, el que simulando calidad de médico u otra profesión de las ciencias médicas, que sin tener título profesional, realiza cualquiera de las acciones siguientes:

Anuncia, emite diagnósticos, prescribe, administra o aplica cualquier medio supuestamente destinado al cuidado de la salud, aunque obre de modo gratuito.

Expide dictámenes o informes destinados a sustentar el diagnóstico, la prescripción o la administración a que se refiere el inciso.

Art. 290: Any person simulating a doctor or health care professional without a professional title will be punished with incarceration no less than one year and no more than four years for realizing any of the following actions:

Advice, diagnosis, prescription, or administering or applying any means destined as health care, even if it is offered without charge.

Offering tests or information designed to support the diagnosis, prescription, or administration in reference to number 1.

The Participant irrevocably and unconditionally waives, releases and holds harmless from financial or other liability Casa Galactica, its facilitators, and other Participants from any and all liabilities, claims, actions, damages, costs, or expenses of any nature whatsoever, whether in law or equity, known or unknown, occurring during, caused by, relating to, or arising in any way from the Circle and participating in the Circle.

Casa Galactica makes no warranties, express or implied, guarantees or conditions with respect to the Participant´s participation in, or experience of, the Circle. The Participant expressly agrees and understands that your participation in the Circle is at your sole risk; that you will exercise caution and consideration of yourself and other Participants during the Circle; and that you indemnify Casa Galactica against claims and loss.
Any legal action taken against Casa Galactica will only take place in Peru under Peruvian Law.
7. Restrictions
The Circle is only available for Participants aged 18 years or older. If you are 18 years or older, but under the age of majority in your jurisdiction, you should review this Circle Terms & Conditions of Participation with your parent or legal guardian to make sure that you and your parent or legal guardian understand it and agree to it.

8. Changes to These Terms & Conditions
These Circle Terms & Conditions of Participation are effective as of the date stated at the top of these Circle Terms & Conditions of Participation. Casa Galactica may change these Circle Terms & Conditions of Participation from time to time, and it is the responsibility of all Participants to refer back to these Circle Terms & Conditions of Participation on a regular basis. When you sign up to participate in a Circle, you agree that you have read, understand, and agree to the most current version of these Circle Terms & Conditions of Participation at the scheduled time of the Circle.
9. Controlling Law
These Circle Terms & Conditions of Participation and any action related thereto will be governed by the laws of Peru. Any disputes relating to these Circle Terms & Conditions of Participation will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Peru.
10. Miscellaneous
Our failure to act on or enforce any provision of these Circle Terms & Conditions of Participation shall not be construed as a waiver of that provision or any other provision in these Circle Terms & Conditions of Participation. No waiver shall be effective against Casa Galactica unless made in writing, and no such waiver shall be construed as a waiver in any other or subsequent instance. Except as expressly agreed by us and you in writing, these Circle Terms & Conditions of Participation constitute the entire agreement between you and us with respect to the subject matter, and supersedes all previous or contemporaneous agreements, whether written or oral, between the parties with respect to the subject matter. The section headings are provided merely for convenience and shall not be given any legal import.
