We have strict protocols and safety standards in place to ensure your wellbeing on your healing journey with us. You can rest assured that we have everything in place to provide the highest level of care possible to embark on this deep transformational journey. Here are the protocols which we we have in place:

  • Our Founders and Healers are first aid trained and trauma-informed.

  • Comprehensive First Aid Kit / Equipment on Site suitable for remote jungle locations

  • Strict Safety protocols followed throughout the retreat to ensure your safety for the duration of the retreat

  • In depth Pre-Screening Process in accordance with ICEERS (The International Center for Ethnobotanical Education, Research & Service) to ensure the safety of all participants,including an online pre-retreat consultation on how to prepare for your journey and to discuss medical conditions, stopping any medication and your personalized treatment plan

  • Full written medical and diet guidelines for comprehensive information on how to prepare for your journey

  • 24 Hour Transport to Iquitos with Fast Boat for emergency evacuation to Iquitos in case of emergency (1.5-2 hours)

  • Contract with medical facilities in Iquitos in case of emergency

  • Phone Connection to Iquitos to advise medical facilities of our arrival in case of emergency

  • Pure Traditional Ayahuasca – Only Ayahuasca and Chacruna, No Admixtures (Admixtures are what can cause complications and adverse reactions with participants)

  • Highly trained trauma-informed healers available in and outside of ceremony.

  • Small, Intimate Groups of a maximum of 6 participants

  • After Ceremony Care with trained  Healers and Curanderos sleeping on site for 24/7 access in case of emergency

  • Urias, our Indigenous Shipibo Curandero and Vegetalista on is on our Ayahuasca Plant Spirit healing Retreats

  • Emilio, our Shipibo Vegetalista is a trained nurse and is available for the duration of our Ayahuasca Plant Spirit Healing Retreats  

  • Trauma Informed facilitation to assist through all eventualities that may arise on retreat with a balance of male and female facilitation. Trauma informed support staff are important, before, during and after your retreat to ensure you feel safe and held throughout the more challenging experiences.

  • Co-Founder and Curandero Michael Thornhill on site for all of your care needs and support

  • Full Integration Program to ensure that you have all of the support you need to reintegrate to your life including a during retreat integration program, a post retreat group integration session and a one on one integration session providing a high level of integration support.


We have many years of experience assisting people through deep healing processes including deep trauma, sexual abuse, violent abuse, ritual / cult abuse, addiction, PTSD, depression, anxiety, suicidal ideation and more. This experience comes from years of assisting others through their own processes and also overcoming and healing our own experiences of the above traumas and conditions. We have undergone our own deep transformations that helps us understand, guide and assist you through your own process of healing and self-discovery. When the work with the plants is combined with trauma informed care and facilitation, the results can be profound, empowering you to continue with these life changes long after the retreat has finished.

We are here hold a safe space of unconditional love, share our own experiences and expertise, empower you with tools / practices for your own transformation and hold your hand every step of the way if required. Our work is imbued with patience, understanding, compassion, unconditional love and we are here to help you in every way that we can. You are our priority, healing is our passion and love is at the very core of what we do.


In the highly unlikely event that you should feel mistreated, discriminated against, harassed or violated in anyway we treat these accusations very seriously. We have a no tolerance policy with ALL of our staff and we would investigate any accusations immediately onsite. We will look to resolve this immediately and reprimand any individuals that have broken our trust. This is to protect your safety, the integrity of our work and the standards that we uphold at the very core of our beings and through all of our work.

It is important to have these assurances before you embark on such a deep healing journey so that you can confide in the level and standard of care of which you entrust yourself to. We are experts in deep trauma healing work and we ensure that our working standards are inline with that of what is required to create a safe container, through trauma-informed facilitation allowing you to safely dive deep into your own emotional processes. We are available 24/7 for all of your emotional, mental, spiritual and physical needs.

We have high quality training standards with all of our staff to educate them of the best standards of practices. This extends to our indigenous healers too who, who with all of our staff, sign and receive training to adhere to our standard of loving care for all participants, our safety protocols, code of conduct and code of ethics.

We are helping to inform the industry on the level of care and conduct that is required to create a safe healing space for all. We are always open to feedback on how we can improve our practices and standard of care.
